How Are You Feeling Today?

Stumbled upon this “List of Emotions”  as I was doing my routine reading.

As according to Wikipedia, the word “emotion” dates back to 1579, when it was adapted from the French word émouvoir, which means “to stir up”.

“TO STIR UP” indeed….and this is exactly how my heart feels when a sudden news hit me while I was still enjoying the cooling morning rain in bed.

Anger, frustration, sadness, confused, clueless, helpless…..you name them, I felt them….

Don’t worry, I am not going to make you all read what has happened since life still goes on no matter what. Decisions needed to be made fast and actions needed to be taken fast before things start to go haywire and beyond my control.

On the brighter side, when one door closes another door opens and I truly believe that everything happens for a reason.

This sudden situation has indirectly helped me into finalizing the plan that is sitting quietly inside my head all these while due to…erhmmm…*gluped*…procrastination?

  *runs off in shame*

Although there are more hurdles ahead waiting for me to jump, I am feeling hopeful because I know I am not alone to fight this battle for I’ve got my dear family and of course, all you lovely souls out there reading this post. 😀

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to inform you lovely souls that I will be starting a new category “How Are You Feeling Today?” inspired by this list of emotions. I will try my best to blog about each and every emotion mentioned in this list and considering this as a challenge set for myself.

Do feel free to check it out in the near future and just like the title of this category “How Are You Feeling Today?”, you can always share your feelings with us in the comment section if you’ve stumbled upon this humble blog of ours.

Before ending this post, I would like to share this song with all you lovely souls out there as this is the song that I always hum whenever I am feeling low and beat-up in life.

My favourite lines:

But there’s one thing I know
The blues they send to meet me
Won’t defeat me
It won’t be long till happiness
Comes up to greet me

Yes, I am always hopeful that it won’t be long till happiness comes out to greet me and I guess this is probably the main reason why I can deal with the physical pains all these years without taking any pain killers.

By the way, this happened to be the 100th post in this humble blog of ours! Yipeee~ 😀

Be hopeful, always!

Till then,

Cheers & TTFN~ 😀

  1. Lots of people are like you who try to avoid taking any pain killers. It is very difficult because let’s say sometimes nothing helps and the only option is trying to somewhat sleep or function with pain. I’m writing about that https://inesepogalifeschool.com/
I am also trying to invite people to check out the secondary blog https://inesepogalifeschool.com/ and I am very dissatisfied with WordPress policies regarding a secondary blog which never becomes really visible because rarely somebody reads anything.
Anyway, there are millions who suffer from pain and they just have to be strong. I still take some pills when I have to give a class or accomplish some urgent project like right now I have 2 large medical projects with very tight deadlines.
I am so happy this morning because I personally believe we have to start calling things their right names and seeing life as is. I am originally from Europe and I find this way of living way better than pretending everything is perfect and great. The facts do not change just because we want to call them differently.
    Good day to you!

    • Pain killers simply won’t work for me…LOL…anyway, I guess those pains are part of my life for the past ten years or so and I kinda used to it and feeling appreciative during those ‘pain free days’.

Indeed, I’ve been trying out secondary blog in the past and it was really tough to toggle the two blogs. So, in the end I decided to let them go and focus on this blog instead.

Thank you so much for reading this post and sharing your thoughts with us in this lovely comment. All the best to you, your creativity and last but not least, your lovely blogs!

Have a great day ahead, my friend! Cheers~ 😀
